Robertas Antinis‘ path is marked with a various creative stages. At the beginning he worked with his father, famous sculptor Robertas Antinis Senior. Later (from 1980) the artist turned to the topics "About the Blind" and "Measures for Sighting". Other themes, which occupy prominent place in his work are „Epithas“ (dedicated to the deceased sculptor – Father). The theme intertwined with the earlier ones - „Ephemerias“, and even later one, „Erazer“, which deals with the concepts of process and interactivity. Here artist tries to create and exhibit not an objects, but relationship between the perceiver and preasented „characters“.
This exhibition consists of three themes uniting the exposition:
- „Eraser in the Window“. „Erasing“ a passerby of the city.
- „Brightenings“. Erasers on the hands of children with disabilities, gets a chance for „Brightenings“ to emerge by erasing „The Black“.
- „Artist“. Here, eraser „turns“ into an artist playing the role of a means of communicating with the viewer. „Eraser - Artist“ performs about his „rubbing“ as does the viewer‘s possibility to become an „eraser“.
