Aleksas Andriuškevičius. POSSIBLE WATERLINE
„If there is something, that is taking over, in the first place it is a human mind, which thawed the universal insanity.
Therefore, it is possible to make a preliminary guess about likely scale, by disrupting a common sense.
Nature is crossed out, creativity is crossed out. Wild world has drown. Art is swelling.
While creating I find it more interesting and even more meaningfull to leave life to life, creativity to creativity, without trying to frame self in the learned rules of seeing.
I‘m trying to keep my creative touch as little as it would be enough, without letting artwork participate too much with filling the viewer‘s brain with the insensitive, mechanical, effortlesly digested watery consumption experience. Thus, I think, that this possible global level of the „water“ is at the power of line.“
Exhibition is part of Meno Parkas gallery project "Aether. 2020". Project is supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
